Rhone-Poulenc opens new research center.

The Textile & Rubber Specialties business of Rhone-Poulenc Surfactants & Specialties, Cranbury, NJ, officially opened a new technical research center in August. The Hurricane Shoals Center for Textile & Rubber Specialties facility houses activities previously based in Winder and Dalton, GA, Spartanburg, SC and Charlotte, NC.

A staff of 35 employees, including applications development and research scientists, technical and customer service representatives and sales, marketing and product management personnel. The consolidation of the group was designed to create a greater synergy between technical service staff and applications development personnel within the business.
