Rewarding students.

We, as educators, have beaten our brains out trying to motivate students, and in the end all we do is compromise the entire educational process ("Try This: How to Motivate Your Kids to Learn," September). The children that are left behind are the ones who come for an education but get the watered down version because we are too busy coming up with new' ways to get everyone motivated.

Give those that want to learn eve&' possible tool they need to succeed and maybe somewhere down the road, people will see the value of an education. Then we won't have to come up with new techniques to motivate those who don't want to learn.
