Revealed at inquest.

* Raoul Moat's gun, which was shown in court for the first time yesterday, above, had a foot cut off the length of the barrel to widen the spread of shot. * Dozens of alleged sightings of Moat were still flooding in to police after he was captured. * While on the run, Moat created a hit-list of individuals he planned to target because they had "aggrieved" him.

Police chiefs were still seeking information on the unauthorised X-rep Taser from suppliers in Northampton two hours before Moat's death. * Shortly before his apparent suicide, Moat told negotiators he'd hidden another gun in Cragside House estate because he "didn't want kids to find it and get hurt".

Several times during the last few hours of the stand-off, police were forced to clear members of the public from woods directly behind Moat who were trying to take videos and photographs.
