Returning the favour; see it As we OUR QUIRKY TAKE ON THE WEEK'S NEWS.

When Becca Bundy's daughter, Hadley, suffered a seizure three years ago, first on the scene was a volunteer from the local fire department.

Bill Cox was able to get the situation under control before the ambulance arrived and Becca has always been thankful.

Two years later, she bumped into Bill at a charity event in Minnesota and saw he was wearing a T-shirt that explained he was in end-stage kidney failure and required a new kidney.

He'd only been born with one and it was failing. In a desperate attempt to find a matching donor, he'd taken to wearing the shirt. Becca promised to get tested and it turned out she was a match.

So thankful for what Bill did, Becca donated her kidney and the transplant has been a success.
