Return of the Noble Noodlemeister.

Byline: By KAREN PRICE Western Mail

After an extensive tour of Australia for the last four months, one of the UK's favourite stand-up comedians, Ross Noble, has announced dates for his homecoming tour.

And his brand new show Noodlemeister will only visit one Welsh venue - the Princess Royal Theatre in Port Talbot.

Never one to rest, Noble flew straight to Australia off the back of the UK tour of his hit show Unrealtime.

The 27-year-old Geordie has been giving fans Down Under another taste of his comic wizardry with a huge tour of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, which has included sell-out seasons in Sydney, and at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

A critic for the Sydney Morning Herald said, 'One of the most amazing things about English comic Noble, now rising to the very top ranks, is the way his show starts as though it's already been going for hours. We go from cold to hot in seconds, laughing like hyenas clinging onto Noble's comedy super-train.'

He also took the Melbourne International Comedy Festival by storm.

Just a week into the month long season, his show had already become the best-seller of the festival, breaking box office records for daily sales.

Noble has enjoyed sell-out shows in both Melbourne and, closer to home, in Edinburgh, for two years running, proving how popular his live shows have become.

And now with his Australian tour well and truly behind him, he is looking forward to premiering Noodlemeister in the UK.

Noble is now regarded as one of Britain's favourite comics. As well as his live shows, he is also popular on the small screen.

Earlier this year, the BBC broadcast an hour-long special film of his live show Unrealtime recorded at The Garrick Theatre, London last September.

The show was scheduled as part of Ross Noble Night, which also included repeats of his recent guest appearances on Room 101 and Have I Got News For You.

And fans who missed the show will be able to catch it later this year on DVD.

But make sure you don't miss his latest gags and get your ticket now for the Noodlemeister show.

The box office number is 01639 763214.
