Resurfacing A45 flyover to start.

WORK to resurface the eastbound carriageway of the A45 flyover of the A454/A46 Festival island in Coventry begins this week.

The work on the one and a half mile stretch starts on Thursday and is expected to last five weeks.

The Highways Agency said most of the work would be carried out from 10pm to 6am to minimise disruption, although a 40mph speed limit will be in place and eastbound A45 traffic will be diverted off and back onto the A45.
