Restructuring at ABR.

Abrams Benisch Riker, Inc./Colliers International Property Consultants (ABR) has announced a major expansion of its management structure and plans for future growth.

Five principals of the firm, Robert L. Billingsley, Mark P. Boisi, James C. B. Millard, III, James B. Frederick and Thomas C. Ualdron have been elevated to full partnerships, and will join founding partner Stephen J. Riker in directing the management, policy and operations of the firm. Founding partners Robert L. Abrams and John H. Benisch, while taking advantage of the new management structure to relinquish day-to-day operational responsibilities, will remain as partners and continue to service existing clients and undertake brokerage and consulting assignments.

In addition to the new partnerships, ABR also announced plans to expand the firm by 50 percent over the next five years.

This approach has resulted in some of the largest deals made to date in this year's down market -- 135,000 square feet for Scudder Stevens & Clark at 345 Park Avenue and 103,000 square feet for Fish & Neave at 1251 Avenue of the Americas -and is a major contributor to the fact that the firm's approximately 6,000,000 square feet under management is, on average, 95 percent occupied.
