FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE

Described as an "exclusive" dining experience by its manager, L'Osteria del Becco is an intimate space known for its extensive wine cellar and its hearty Italian cuisine. All cheeses, olive oils, sausages and wines are imported directly from Italy, and pastas are made in-house. The genuine balsamic vinegar and fresh parmesan cheese lend an authentic twist to the northern Italian dishes that pepper the menu. Its location in Polanco makes the restaurant a good post-shopping pasta pit stop.

Alfredo di Roma

Campos Eliseos 218

Colonia Polanco (Inside the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel)

Tel: 5327-7700 Ext. 3425

Hours: Monday-Thursday 1:00-5:00 pm and 7:00 pm-2:30 am, Friday-Saturday 7:00 pm-12:00 am, Sunday 1:00-5:00 pm

FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE

A favorite of Mexico City high-class society, Alfredo Di Roma is as versatile as a semi-formal restaurant gets: Business groups, couples and groups of friends alike frequent the contemporary Italian restaurant. Soothing beige-toned walls and blond hardwood furniture are tonally similar to Alfredo Di Roma's signature dish, the Fettuccini Alfredo. The wine list is thorough enough to accompany any menu selection. And to please the couple-dominated dinnertime crowd, a tenor serenades evening eaters.

Colonia Antigua Mina La Totolapa (Inside the Centro Comercial Santa Fe)

Located inside of Latin America's largest shopping center in the heart of the Santa Fe area, Stuffa's casual dress code is befitting of its location. The restaurant is easily one of the best dining options within the shopping mall. The wide-ranging menu includes classic dishes, such as caprese salad, raviolis and pizzas and is accompanied by an accessibly-priced wine list. The restaurant itself is frequented by business people and families and has a young atmosphere embellished with wood beams, stone columns and lush plants.

FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE

Between the art deco buildings, the Parque Mexico directly in front and the beautiful people who frequent this Italian eatery, eyes will be entertained at Vucciria. The restaurant has a small and sophisticated interior and also boasts sidewalk tables. The menu is dominated by traditional Sicilian staples with a few inventive touches, and its cappuccinos end the meal with appropriate levels of caffeine. The restaurant's location in the trendy Condesa neighborhood makes it an excellent launching pad for later activities.
