Rescue 1122 rescues 4235 people in July.

DG KHAN -- Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 rescued 4235 people by responding 4180 emergency calls during last month of July.

District Emergency Officer Dr Natiq Hayyat Alezai expressed said this while presiding over a meeting to review monthly performance of Rescue 1122 here on Wednesday.

District Emergency Officer said that rescue 1122 had received 615 emergency calls of road accidents, 22 of fire, six drowning, four building collapse, 125 of crime, 2763 of medical, and 645 other emergencies during the last month.

The rescue 1122 provided first aid to 1252 patients and shifted others in the hospitals.

Rescue and Safety Officer Mohammad Akhtar Bhutta, control room incharge Mian Abdul Raoof and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
