Republic Airways Holdings to purchase 2m shares from WexAir.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Republic Airways Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:RJET) has entered into an agreement with WexAir LLC, a former majority stockholder of the company.

The agreement is for the purchase of two million shares of Republic Airways Holdings common stock, par value USD0.001 per share, at a price of USD20.50 per share. The total consideration will amount to USD41m. Settlement of the transaction is expected to occur on or before 21 March 2007.

Upon the completion of this transaction Republic Airways Holdings will have approximately 41.1m common shares outstanding.
