Republic Airways August RPMs down 6%.

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: RJET) said it generated nearly 974 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in August, down about six percent compared to the same period in 2014, with a seven percent reduction in available seat miles (ASMs).

Block hours declined eight percent to about 62,000, and the load factor increased one percentage point compared to the same period last year. Republic Airways carried more than two million passengers during the month, a decrease of two percent compared to August 2014.
