To contribute to human development in Nicaragua through the development of professional skills in the field of Hospitality and Tourism The project aims. The project started in March 2014 and it will promote a quality employability for young people and those doing business within this key sector of the economy. It will also strengthen the business by meeting their demands for training human resources. The project is part of the program of the Luxembourg Cooperation in the field of technical education and vocational training.

Tourism is now the fourth sector revenue generator for Nicaragua and presents prospects for development especially as the inter-oceanic canal project takes shape.

The project builds on previous interventions (construction of the National School of Hotel and vocational skills development for the sector) and seeks to replicate the achievements of the entire sub-sector in Nicaragua.

A pilot scheme of work will be developed for the sub-sector within the National Institute of Technology as part of the organizational change process to improve the response to the demands of the productive sector.

Refurbishment and commissioning of the Hotel School "Luxemburgo Casa" and "decentralized classes" will complement the work of ENAH with the provision of infrastructure at the national level also responding to the needs of regions .

The challenge is to improve relations with the productive sector and other Nicaraguan institutions implies the need to enter into a public-private alliance to enhance the skills of hoarding and parties. The project will support efforts to professionalize the relationship with the productive sector, the definition and implementation of a device for defining skills and improving public-private collaboration.
