Remy Announces Retirement of Corporate Technology Director.

Remy International, Inc. recently announced the retirement of its corporate technology director William Wylam.

According to Remy, Wylam joined the company in 1997 after his retirement from General Motors and its Delco Remy unit.

During his tenure with GM Delco Remy, Wylam served as the company's program manager and was involved with the launch of the drive and electronics components for the GM EV1 electric car.

Remy noted that Wylam will continue to serve as the chairman of Electricore, a nonprofit technology advancement company formed in 1993 by Delco Remy, AeroVironment, Inc., GM's Allison Transmission Division and the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology.
