Remington Web guide honored for excellence. (Industry Bulletin Board).

Remington and Flying Fish Creative Services have been honored with the Copper AXIEM Award for Excellence in electronic media. The award recognized the joint Web project, titled "The Remington Guide to Shotgun Basics." It covers basic features and handling requirements of shotguns, shot-shells and proper storage and maintenance.

The AXIEM Awards is an international competition recognizing Absolute Excellence In Electronic Media (AXIEM). More than 14,000 entries were received for the 2002 competition with only 7 percent receiving top honors.

"To be acknowledged by your peers in the most popular of media categories is definitely an honor," said Sam Grecco, vice president of e-business and e-commerce for Remington. "Visited by 750,000 unique users each month, our Website has set a standard in the industry and consistently ranks in the number one position in the firearms industry.
