Interfaith Prayer Service International - The 170th Interfaith Prayer Service will take place at First Christian Church at 1166 Oak St. on Friday with a musical prelude at 6:45 p.m. and the service at 7 p.m. The theme will be "Lights of Love and Tranquility" and the service will include presentations from Hindu, Baha'i, Christian, Jewish and other faiths. Episcopal Church of St. John the Divine - The congregation will hold its Holiday Bake Sale and Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 at 2537 Game Farm Road in Springfield.
