Relations with Pakistan are of vital important: Japan.

TOKYO -- Japan has said that it keeps ties with Pakistan always remain at utmost priority. Japanese Senior Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Nori Mtsuya in a meeting with Pakistani Ambassador Farukh Amil, declared meeting between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in New York as very important.

He also expressed condolences for the victims of the recent earthquake in Balochistan. The Ambassador expressed condolences for the victims of the recent Typhoon Wipha. He further said that Pakistan-Japan relations remained of utmost priority.

The Senior Vice Minister and the Ambassador reviewed the existing state of excellent bilateral relations and committed to strengthening and expanding ties further.
