Reinventing the portfolio.

Anthony E. Malkin, President, W&M Properties and Wien & Malkin Supervisory Services, will speak at the B'nai B'rith Real Estate Unit luncheon on Wednesday, February 7, 12:00 noon, at the Cornell Club, 6 East 44th Street. His topic is "Reinventing Real Estate: The Repositioning of Manhattan's Wien & Helmsley Portfolio."

Malkin received his B.A. degree cum laude in English literature studies from Harvard College in 1985 and shortly thereafter joined Chemical Venture Partners, L.P., a then-recently formed venture capital and leveraged buyout affiliate of Chemical Bank, now JPMorgan Capital Partners, an affiliate of JPMorgan Chase.

In 1989, he joined W&M Properties, where he now serves as president. W&M Properties is the real estate acquisition, management, and construction arm of the Malkin Family, which has been active in real estate for four generations. Founded by Lawrence A. Wien and his son-in-law, current chairman Peter L. Malkin, W&M Properties is involved with office, residential, and retail real estate in eight states.
