Regional Transport Authority directs to bring over charging transporters to book.

Rawalpindi -- Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has directed its staff to take stern action against the transporters found overcharging the fair during Eid Ul Azah festive.

According to Secretary Regional Transport Authority Khalid Yameen Satti, three squads have been arranged to deploy on different spots for vigilantly surveillance. The squads will intercept the passengers transport and verify the price of the ticket from the commuters.

The special Squad headed by Motor Vehicle Examiner Saukat Abbasi will act against the overcharging transporters at Peshawar Road wagon Stop while another squad at Sawan bus stop.

The squads will remain on duty during Eid holidays.
