Refugees undergo health check by Turkish doctors in Netherlands.

ROTTERDAM (CyHAN)- Sanitas Health Foundation launched a project for the refugees living in the Netherlands. Five physicians examine the Syrian refugees most of whom live on an island near Rotterdam. Doctor Reis Kur from the foundation stated that they applied to Ministry of Health to provide service for them. "We have been serving for around 400 refugees living on the island for the last three weeks," he said.

Being on only Turkish medical foundation in the country, Sanitas doctors communicate with the refugees via translators. One of the refugees named Ismail Mamo said he leant Dutch in three months and he plans to bring his family to the country after the finis his education.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands has received over 10,000 refugees since the latest refugee influx to the Europe. The number is expected to exceed 30,000 by the end of 2016.
