Refugee Aider. (International).

Actress Angelina Jolie is putting her money and stardom where her heart is. During trips to Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Cambodia earlier this year, she saw firsthand the plight of refugees. The Tomb Raider star became an official goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and posted a journal at usaforunhcr.org. Amid the strikes on Afghanistan, she has lent her star power to a UN fund-raising drive to aid Afghan refugees, kicking off the campaign with a $1 million pledge. Jolie will also star in the movie Beyond Borders, playing an international relief worker, as art imitates life.
