Redpack interfaces with auto snack feeders.

Redpack Packaging Machinery has recently won two further contracts for its P325 SnackPacker flow wrapping machines. Both machines are for existing customers, one in France and one in the UK, and both customers are upgrading to automatic feed systems. With these new contracts, Redpack has won orders for twenty six P325 SnackPacker machines over the last two years, fourteen of which have been interfaced with automatic feed systems.

Redpack has a policy of continual development and new machines can be supplied with advanced three axis drives and 10.5" Proface screens, bringing improved operator control and machine diagnostics. In addition a 'Green Option' cold perforator is available that does not use either heat or air, and an automatic film splicer will improve line efficiencies and reduce film wastage.

Redpack's multi-packing horizontal P325 machines are designed for high volume multi-pack production, providing the levels of quality and reliability which are essential in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The performance and reliability of the P325 lends itself to integration with automatic feed systems.

There are currently twelve Redpack supplied machines as part of automatic crisp multi-packing lines and a further three machines will be integrated during this year.

Commenting on the company's continuing success in the snack industry, Redpack's Steve Crow said: "The recent orders reenforce the general belief that the snacks market still offers significant year on year retail sales growth and that crisp manufacturers are moving towards fully automated production lines."
