Redford girl splits from Scots husband.
FILM legend Robert Redford's daughter Amy has split from Scots husband Mark Mann after three years.
Amy, 32, now lives a few streets away from celebrity photographer Mark, 36, in downtown Manhattan, New York.
The couple are in dispute over a watertight pre-nuptial agreement which ensures Mark gets nothing in a divorce.
Friends of the couple say the relationship faltered just as Amy's acting career started to take off.
The stunning strawberry blonde has had small parts in TV blockbusters Sex & The City and The Sopranos and starred in stage play Golden Ladder in New York, a role which won her wide-spread critical acclaim.
It's also thought Mark, from Glasgow, was not seen as ideal son-in-law material by Robert, 64, star of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting.
Mark refused to comment about the split last night. He said: "We are still married but I can't say anymore. I haven't talked about it and I won't now."
In her last interview, former wild child Amy hinted at marital strain. She said: "Getting married - it's probably the most optimistic thing I've ever done." A close friend said: "There has always been a feeling that Robert Redford had a very set idea about what he wanted for his daughter and Mark didn't match that. The whole thing has obviously caused a great deal of upset.
"Mark has been back to Glasgow see his family and friends but there won't be an immediate divorce. There was an extremely strict pre- nuptial agreement signed at the time of their wedding."
Mark's work is in constant demand from glossy US magazines. The couple met when he took her picture and he later proposed in a Manhattan park.
Their lavish wedding, at Redford's Utah mansion, was a private affair after they turned down huge offers from showbiz magazines.
