Red Herring Conference Uncovers the Hottest Emerging Technology Companies in The South

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Red Herring, the leading technology and entertainment business magazine, will host Venture Market South in Atlanta on February 24 & 25, 1997 at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. Venture Market South is an exclusive forum where CEOs of the most promising privately-held technology companies will present their business plans to an audience of leading venture capitalists, top financiers, business development executives, and members of the technology and finance press. This regional event will showcase companies from as far west as Texas, and as far north as the Mason-Dixon line.

Scheduled presenters include: Mercury Mail which delivers customized e-mail services including news, weather, stocks, sports, and entertainment updates; Synchrologic, a provider of database-vendor independent synchronization software; and Vignette which provides complete, integrated Web site content production solutions.

On Tuesday, February 25, cable and telco industry leaders debate which technologies will dilate the information pipeline to your living room.
