Red Crescent gets support from Emirates ID.

Abu Dhabi:

Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) and the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) are looking into the idea of using the national ID-card as a main source of information for data on beneficiaries of RCA services.

The use of the ID card would potentially ease the procedures that beneficiaries have to undergo and would also help improve the services provided by the RCA.

The idea of collaboration between the organisations was discussed during a meeting between both entities in which Dr Ali Mohammad Al Khoury, Director General of Emirates ID, assured his support to the RCA. He added that the Authority could supply the RCA with special electronic readers for the ID cards.
