Recycling the metal.

ESTABLISHED in 1958, Pout and Foster is a private limited company with its head office and main depot in Hartlepool and subsidiary depots in Sunderland and Darlington.

The company currently handles around 50,000 tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal each year. The main plant at Hartlepool includes a high-capacity shearing and separation system. The machinery can process 10,000 tonnes of ferrous metal a month.

It also produces high quality steel products, supported by exceptional service that ensures they are delivered as specified and on time.

Pout and Foster recovers non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper, brass and stainless steel. It also buys commercial non-ferrous materials such as factory rejects and scrap products such as foil and cans, cable and transformers. The material is accumulated, containerised and exported or delivered into UK foundries.

BALING Louritex and Moros baling presses meet all requirements for efficient scrap processing. DEMOLITION SCRAP Heavy duty containers, collection vehicles, and skilled assessors can quickly clear demolition sites of all types and sizes of scrap metal. The company can work anywhere within the UK, and as a member of the British Secondary Metal Association it is up to date with the latest guidelines, codes of practice, and challenges of the demolition industry.
