Recruitment body signs up Adessi.
The REC is the body which represents the pounds 24.5bn recruitment industry, supporting recruitment professionals, businesses and agencies throughout the UK.
With over 12,000 REC members nationwide, the REC also aims to develop successful careers in recruitment and raise standards in the industry.
Adessi will be providing a full PR and media relations service to the REC's North-East division and Adessi account handler Sarah Lee will be working closely with the REC's North-East regional director, Simon Hughes.
Mark Carton, director at Adessi, said: "The REC is an excellent organisation, which is working hard to raise standards and support its members. The North-East region is already very active with a programme of events and seminars, aimed at educating the wider business community about employment legislation and trends in the recruitment sector.
"We are delighted to be able to support the organisation, and will focus on the major issues facing the recruitment sector in promoting the organisation."
Simon Hughes said: "It is only recently that the REC dispersed into regional divisions. The recruitment industry has been a major growth sector in the North-East, and the REC wants to ensure that its members offer the highest standards of service.
"Therefore, we will highlight best practice, share new working practices and legislative knowledge and provide a voice for the recruitment sector in the North-East. We are confident that, by working with Adessi, we will be able to achieve our goals."
