Rebels kill Briton.

A BRITISH man was shot dead in Uganda yesterday after rebels attacked a group of tourists.

Keith Steve Willis had initially rescued the tourists whose boat had capsized on the Nile, in Murchison Falls National Park, in north-western Uganda.

Following the rescue, Mr Willis and the other tourists, who were from the UK and New Zealand, were travelling by car when they were ambushed.

A spokesman for the Ugandan army, said the tourists came across two armed rebels.

"They fired on the vehicle and a Briton by the name of Keith Steve Willis was killed instantly. The rebels robbed everything. They abducted the rest of the people in the vehicle during the ambush but we have rescued them
