Reassurance firm relocates U.S. HQ to 17 State Street.

In a relocation of its U.S. headquarters from One Exchange Plaza, Abeille Reassurances has leased 5,897 square feet on the 6th floor of Seventeen State Street. The U.S. division of a major French reinsurance firm, Abeille Reassurances will be taking larger facilities in its move to Seventeen State.

V. J. Peters Associates L. P., which represented Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAAA), in the lease transaction, reports that the long-term lease has an aggregate rental of approximately $1.9 million.

Describing his firm's decision to move to Seventeen State. Abeille's Controller Claude Miller cited "the two deciding factors for us were the building's location and the premier value of the space."

Mark Jaccom, Ken Witler and Dave Conforte represented Abeille Reassurances in the negotiations.
