Realtors build habitat home. (Lending a Hand).

Realtors from across the United States had more on their agendas than average convention-goers when they came to New Orleans last November for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Conference & Expo. Many wanted to do their part to help put the finishing touches, including landscaping, on a new Habitat for Humanity home for a local family.

Realtors affiliated with the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and the Louisiana Realtors Association began working on the home in August. NAR has made a commitment to help build a Habitat for Humanity house abroad and in the host city for its annual conference every year.
