HZS and RealityWave Sign Deal with Event at RealityWave World
RealityWave Inc., developer of the leading Internet-architected platform powering 3D collaboration, today announced an agreement to partner with Hitachi Zosen Information Systems (HZS), a leading Japanese system developer and system integrator in design, manufacturing, engineering and more. HZS will resell ConceptStation(TM), the web-based interactive collaborative environment, throughout its Japanese distribution. As part of the agreement HZS is also localizing ConceptStation for the Japanese market and will be integrating RealityWave's patented VizStream technology into its own design products. The agreement was officially signed at an event held on July 23, 2001 at RealityWave World Headquarters.
HZS is a leading CAD/CAM/CAE provider in the Japanese market. HZS provides a complete solution to its customers by integrating its Space-E CAD/CAM product with the best of breed products from around the world. HZS came to RealityWave for a solution that enabled Web collaboration without compromises in time, design integrity, or workstation performance. ConceptStation creates a unique collaboration solution, allowing users to participate in a centralized and secure product design environment.
