Reality check for Valley; CALOR ONE CENTRAL.

Dunstable ................. 3 Rugby Town.............0 A DOMINANT display from Dunstable underlined their title credentials and left Valley with much to ponder.

The game was effectively over as a contest before the interval. Poor marking allowed Lee Roache to rise unchallenged and head into the top corner early on.

On 12 minutes the lead was doubled when Roache and Nathan Frater combined - the ball eventually finding its way to Adam Watkins who scored with a low shot past Niall Cooper.

Christopher Marsh then struck a shot against the foot of the post and the Blues moved in for the kill.

The third goal when it did come was Wimbledon circa 1987, Jamie Head's long clearance flicked on by Frater and Roache firing a second past Cooper from the acutest of angles.

Prior to kick-off there was a minute's silence for Paris Okai, who had played for both clubs and died tragically at the age of 28.
