Ready to take the plunge in charity abseil.

CARDIFF people are being asked to take the plunge down one of the city's tallest buildings to help save lives.

The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust has organised an abseil at Brunel House next year to raise funds for people suffering from leukaemia and other bone marrowrelated diseases.

And Nia Chadwick, the trust's area appeals manager, says the event on March 31 is breaking new ground for the charity.

"The trust does a lot of abseils to raise money throughout South Wales, but this is the highest we have ever done, " she said.

"Brunel House stands at 210ft, which is a real challenge even for the most experienced abseiler.

"It is one the most sought-after abseil venues in Wales, and we are advertising it early because many people will need time to work up the courage."

If you are interested in taking part in this or any other event, or simply want to make a donation or find out more, call Nia Chadwick on 01554 755352, email nia. chadwick@popmail. anthonynolan. org. uk, or visit the website at www. anthonynolan. org. uk
