Sweden-based document automation solutions supplier ReadSoft has said that the company's ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for FORMS software has been chosen to rapidly process responses to over 100,000 questionnaires.
According to the company, the questionnaires are being sent out as part of a major UK study into the causes of breast cancer carried out by the Institute of Cancer Research, a cancer research organisation, and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a UK-based breast cancer charity. The aim is reportedly to examine the risk factors relating to breast cancer.
The questionnaire is being sent out to more than 100,000 volunteers and their responses are to be scanned, verified and archived electronically using ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for FORMS software, the company said, allowing the results to be further analysed with the goal of discovering the causes of breast cancer.
No financial details have been disclosed.
