Reaching for the stars...

India's first unmanned lunar spacecraft, Chandrayaan I successfully placed the Indian flag on the moon (or lunar surface) on Friday, November 14.

This is great news and only three countries, namely, the US, Russia and Japan, have succeeded in doing so before.

I am quite confident that the Indian Space Agency has lined up a lot of programmes for the future.

India has come a long way from a Socialist economy to an open economy.
