Razan's new role.
Lebanese television host Razan Al Maghribi will play her first role in an Egyptian television drama series "Ada AL Nahar" (Except The Day), written by Muhammad Safa Amer and directed by Ismail Abed Al Hafeth.A number of Egyptian and Lebanese actors will play leading roles in the new series, like Samir Sabri, Nicole Saba, Afaf Sha'ieb, Nihal Anbar, Muna Fadali, Anam Salosa, and Abdullah Farghali.
According to the London daily Elaph, Razan will play the role of "Safyeh" an Egyptian girl from a wealthy Egyptian family. Razan's mother, a singer, is played by Nihal Anbar. Egyptian actor Samir Sabri plays her father.
The series is set in the late 1960's during the 1967 war between Israel and Arab countries, and depicts the lives of Egyptians at the time. The second part of the series takes place in 1973.
The budget for the series is between 9 to12 million Egyptian pounds. The first scenes of the series will be filmed in an Ottoman villa, where Samir Sabri, Razan Maghribi, and Afaf Sha'ieb are staying.
