Entertainment Editors

NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--July 10, 2001

Rave Music (OTCBB:PDSE):

New Assignment Follows On The Heels Of Rave's Music Production for

4Kids' Highly Popular Pokemon Franchise

Rave Music, a wholly owned subsidiary of Paradise Music & Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB: PDSE) (www.pdse.com), has been selected by 4Kids Entertainment (NYSE: KDE) to produce the musical score for 4Kids' highly anticipated animated series YU-GI-OH!.

The 4Kids-Rave association began when the award-winning music production company provided the music for the hugely successful 4Kids rollout of Pokemon. In addition to producing all music for the Pokemon animated series, Rave also handled the music for the popular franchise's three Warner Brothers-released films, a touring, live theater show, two Koch released albums based on the songs from the popular TV show, and 2 soundtrack albums based on the film scores. Its most successful album "2.B.A. Master" sold approximately three million copies worldwide.

"We are proud to once again work with this excellent group of entertainment companies. We have enjoyed a close working relationship with them and appreciate their continued endorsement of our work by awarding us this contract. All of us at Rave look forward to working again with Norman Grossfeld, Executive Producer of YU-GI-OH!," said John Loeffler, President of Rave Music.

A major success in Japan, YU-GI-OH! generated over $2 billion in revenues. YU-GI-OH! is a top-rated animated series on TV Tokyo, while the Konami-produced card-based games have sold over 7-million units for PlayStation and Gameboy platforms. In addition, YU-GI-OH! sold a staggering 3.5 billion in collector cards, and more than 23 million copies of the comic book.

In the U.S., 4Kids Entertainment has teamed with Kids WB to serve as the broadcast home for YU-GI-OH!, to premiere the series this fall.

About YU-GI-OH!

Based on the comic book series, YU-GI-OH! follows the adventures of Yugi, a smaller-than-average high school student -- and an easy target for bullies. When his grandfather, a local game shop manager, gives him an ancient Egyptian riddle called the "Millennium Puzzle," and Yugi pieces it together, he unexpectedly becomes the powerful "Game King," an alter ego. When Yugi gets into sticky situations, the "Game King" takes over and protects Yugi and his friends. The game is on as Yugi plays games to defeat his monster rivals.
