Rapper's Delight... as the Sugarhill Gang dare to BARE.

HIP-HOP icons the Sugarhill Gang were yesterday confirmed as headliners for this year's BARE in the Woods festival.
The New York rappers, famed for genre-defining hits like Rapper's Delight, will take centre stage at Garryhinch Woods, Co Laois this July.
The Sugarhill Gang, pictured right, were the the first rap artists to break the Top 40 on the US Billboard Top 100 Chart and were the inspiration for many subsequent hip hop acts through their label Sugar Hill Records.
Joining them on the bill is reggae legend Natty Wailer. Natty toured and recorded with Bob Marley and the Wailers for over a decade before performing live as a solo artist.
Joining these international acts on the bill are some of Ireland's finest homegrown acts, including King Kong Company, The Pale and Fox Jam.
Also announced are August Wells, Dah Jevu, Pretty Beast, Slow Motion Heroes, Everything Shook, My Tribe Your Tribe, Suan and Cua.
With a mission statement to "to create on of the best boutique festival sites in Europe and bring an event that has something different to offer the festival season in Ireland", the BARE festival site compliments its natural surroundings using timber sourced from the site itself to build some very creative stages and structures.
It is also offers great value for money with camping tickets for the 24-hour event priced at only [euro]40 for a Day Ticket and [euro]50 with camping.
This is the third BARE in the Woods festival, the previous two were sell outs, while it also claimed the Best One Day Festival gong at this year's Irish Festival Awards.
The site is located close to Portarlington railway station and serviced by Dublin Coach, with a 24-hour service to Dublin, Limerick and Cork.
Tickets for BARE in the Woods, taking place on July 11-12, are on sale now.
