Police are hunting a rapist who fled from a court building moments after being found guilty of attacking a teenage girl.

Bradley Tout, 20, vaulted the dock and ran out of Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday after being unanimously convicted alongside his co-defendant, Kulin Odedra.

West Mercia Police warned that anyone harbouring Tout, of Worcester, would also face arrest.

Tout is described as white, 5ft 8ins, with short brown hair, and was wearing a white top and dark trousers.

Worcester Newsreports he jumped over the three foot high dock and made a run for it as members of his family shouted 'he's innocent'.

He then "crashed into a wall...fled through the atrium of the court, through the metal detector and out into the street..."

Judge Nicolas Cartwright, addressing the jury, said: "Well, I've never seen anything like that happen before."

Tout of Durham Road, Ronkswood, was convicted of a single count of rape. Odedra, aged 28, of Canterbury Road, Ronkswood, was convicted of two counts of rape, one of attempted rape and one of assault by penetration.

Tout, Odedra and a third man, Kaasim Multani, were cleared of paying for the sexual services of a child using alcohol and soft drinks.

This was the only charge against Mr Multani, 20, and he left court a free man on Wednesday.

Odedra was found not guilty of attempting to sexually exploit a child under the age of 18.

Superintendent Paul Moxley said: "We have launched a thorough search for Tout and would urge the public if they see him to contact police immediately.

"Anyone who is knowingly assisting Tout or harbouring him should also expect to be arrested."

Anyone who sees Tout or knows of his whereabouts should immediately call 999 quoting incident 474s of 3 October 2018.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
