Rapid access to expert diagnosis.

PEOPLE often feel left in the dark when it comes to private healthcare. At Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals we want you to have the facts at your fingertips. When it comes to your health, you can choose your consultant, your hospital and get an appointment quickly.

You don't need to be in a health insurance scheme to get an opinion from a private specialist or to access our hospital facilities, all with plentiful free parking. Self-pay care packages are available, with interest-free credit, so you don't have to pay up front all at once.

Also, you don't have to see your GP first before making an appointment with one of our specialists. While it is helpful to keep your family doctor informed, you can simply ring our helpful reception team to make an appointment with the right specialist, right away. Just ring 029 2083 6700.

Initial appointments cost from PS150 and a joint injection to reduce back pain is PS350. If required, the starting price for some typical procedures are as follows: varicose vein treatment PS900, bunion removal PS1839, hernia repair PS2,300 and cataract removal PS2,498.

We score highly on a number of key indicators; low surgical revision rates, consistently low infection rates and high-quality clinical outcomes.

For our self-pay patients we offer a price-match promise where we will meet any comparable price and there are no limits on our aftercare services.
