Randall DuPont.

WORCESTER - Randall "Randy" S. DuPont, 51, of Rochelle Street, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 13, in his home.

He is survived by his son, Michael S. DuPont of Lakeland, Fla; a daughter, Melissa A. DuPont of Worcester; his father, Richard R. DuPont Sr. of Kennebunk, Maine; two brothers, Richard R. DuPont Jr, and his wife, Gail, of Kennebunk and Wayne R. DuPont and his wife, Gail, of Boylston; a grandson, Sabrye A. Toney; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Debra Lynch. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Goldie G. (Ramsey) DuPont, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester.

Mr. DuPont graduated from Burncoat Senior High School and received degrees from WITI and Quinsigamond Community College. He was a master electrician and most recently was employed by Polar Beverages in Worcester. Previously, he had worked for Wright Line Co. in Worcester for 29 years. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycles and NASCAR. He loved being with family and always gave out a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. DuPont was held on Monday, Aug. 17, in the funeral home. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
