Rams left to Roo silly lapses.

Byline: IAN WINROW at the Weston Homes Stadium

PETERBORO 2 Burrows 90+1, Dembele 90+10

DERBY 1 Stretton 77

WAYNE ROONEY must be wondering how steep his managerial learning curve is going to become.

The Derby boss admitted his frustration following his side needlessly tossing away the chance of victory by shipping two goals after the fourth official had signalled 11 minutes of added time.

Siriki Dembele struck the last-gasp winner in the 100th minute after Harrison Burrows had cancelled out Jack Stretton's opening goal.

And that came after Rooney's only senior striker, Colin Kazim- Richards., was stretchered off with a seriouslooking leg injury.

The Rams manager said: "I feel frustrated. Lapses in concentration have cost us and it's results that matter.

"We let a runner go for the first goal and a mistake for the second and it

DERBY happens. But one thing you can't question is the players' attitude and hard work.

"It's frustrating to concede the goals the way we did and we deserved to win."

Stretton, 19, came on after Kazim-Richards. pulled up just into the second half. And the teenager wasted no time in making an impression by firing home Ravel Morrison's knockdown after Posh failed to clear a 77th minute corner.

With Derby unable to bring in any more players because of EFL restrictions, Stretton is now the only recognised striker in Rooney's squad.

Rooney added: "It's a great finish by Jack. But I think the bigger issue is Colin getting his injury and we are left with no recognised senior striker."
