Raman spectrometer system for process control.

tec5USA's Raman spectrometer system for process control is based on the proprietary MultiSpec spectrometer system. The spectrometer cassettes contain a laser light source and high-resolution spectrometer. A specially designed fiber-optic Raman probe completes the measurement setup. A temperature-stabilized, semiconductor laser provides 50 to 500 mW of 785 nm excitation light. It is housed in a plug-in cassette with an FPC fiber-optic output connector on the front panel to allow easy connection to the Raman probe. The spectrometer cassette uses a high-throughput, high-resolution spectrograph based on a sensitive TE-cooled scientific-grade CCD detector.
