Raising funds is just click of a Big Blue Mouse away.
Cadbury Trebor Bassett has been raising funds through everyclick.com for the company's official charity, Ghana: For The Source, since January 2006. The charity provides clean portable water throughout the cocoa growing communities of Ghana via its well-building programme.
Everyclick's Big Blue Mouse is on a tour of the UK as part of the 'Give Your Mouse A Heart' campaign. You can follow the exploits of the Big Blue Mouse by checking out the blog at http://mousetour.wordpress.com The website works by donating 50 per cent of its revenue to charity; with each search, a donation is made. Launched in June 2005, it has over 60,000 individual users and 850 corporate firms on board. The site has delivered more than 50 million searches and has already raised more than pounds 250,000 for charity.
Mouse manager Emma Walton said: "There are so many smaller charities that have now benefited from everyclick.com that we felt that it was time to send the mouse out to see them. Cadbury is one of our biggest corporate users of the site, and their staff have really got involved."
Kelly Farrell, community affairs adviser at Cadbury Trebor Bassett, added: "Everyclick is such a simple way to raise money for charity, and we encourage our staff to use the website."
