Raily great Spot for a new hostel.
At 1347ft above sea level Corrour Station House on Rannoch Moor is Scotland's highest mainland station.
It has been taken over by the Scottish Youth Hostels Association and its 25-seater restaurant and rooms will cater for youth groups and outdoor types on hiking and mountaineering activities.
Corrour was made famous by the '90s film starring Ewan McGregor and Kevin McKidd.
In a famous scene, the main characters get off a train - prompting a rant by junkie Renton, played by McGregor.
Martin Stewart, head of operations at the SYHA, said: "We are thrilled to have taken over the Station House, with the blessing of Corrour Estate.
"We aim to provide extended quality accommodation and catering - making the destination ideal for groups and travellers."
