Railstore's new Integrated Rail/Road Service.
Railstore Ltd, tel:0170 845 6111, have launched an integrated rail-road service they reckon offers substantial cost-savings to importers and those involved in distribution throughout the UK.The company operate a seven-acre warehouse and rail-transhipment complex at Romford, alongside the main London-Harwich line, with a private 900ft rail siding for offloading consignments coming by rail from the Continent via the Channel tunnel.
Next day distribution around the UK is guaranteed by the company through its membership of the nationwide palletised organisation, Palletline, as well as through its own fleet of transporters carrying mixed cargo.
