Rail trail partially closed.

Road construction along Highway 24 south of Cambridge will temporarily close a popular section of the Cambridge-Paris Rail Trail between Footbridge Road and Glen Morris.

The trail section will be closed for about for weeks, beginning Aug. 9. During construction there will be no alternate route around the closed section of trail.

The construction project will replace of a culvert that passes under the rail trail near Maple Manor Road.

The trail will stay open between Glen Morris and Paris.

Parking in Glen Morris at the end of Forbes Street near the boat launch will be limited.
