Radisson Blu appoints top executive.
Manama: The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa has appointed Petr Dubsky the executive assistant manager.
General manager Panos Panagis said Mr Dubsky has proven himself to be a host and a true hospitality leader with great potential.
Mr Dubsky, a Czech national, has extensive experience in the hospitality industry since starting his career 10 years ago. He began his career in 2008 with The Rezidor Hotel Group as bar manager and later as restaurant manager at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin, Ireland.
He has since gained experience during pre-opening of two Radisson Blu Hotels, in Poland and Nigeria. The interest of opening of new hotels has shifted Mr Dubsky to Batumi, Georgia as food and beverage manager to become a core team member of pre-opening team of Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi. Two years later, he was appointed as food and beverage manager at The Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel Tbilisi, Georgia.
His most recent position was director of food and drink at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa. Mr Dubsky will remain in charge of food and drink in addition to his responsibilities as executive assistant manager.
