Radio recital for lecturer's play.

A CITY lecturer is to have a play he has written broadcast on national radio this month ahead of a possible UK tour in 2007.

Lance Woodman, a part-time lecturer at UCE Birmingham's Faculty of Law, Humanities, Development and Society in Perry Barr, wrote Upside Down and Back to Front, a story of a photographer's exploits just before the First World War.

A radio adaptation of the play will now be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 2.15pm on Tuesday November 14.

The original theatre play was commissioned and produced by Artworcs and first performed at the Number 8 Community Arts Centre, Pershore, last year.
