Radio opportunity for bands.

Teesside bands can get a valuable shot at radio airplay this week, if they get their demos into a temporary radio station.

Digital station Hartlepool FM is this week staging a nightly battle of the bands.

Each day a panel will judge the best rock or pop recording with the overall winners getting recording time at the Hartlepool Studio.

To qualify bands must be from Hartlepool or play gigs in the town.

Tracks should be sent on CD to Hartlepool FM, The Staincliffe Hotel, Seaton Carew, TS25 1AB.
