Radio Lebanon celebrates Christmas and New Year.

Information Minister Tarek Mitri patronized the Christmas and New Year celebration at the official Lebanese Radio station on Thursday, upon an invitation from the station's director Mohammed Ibrahim, and in presence of the Information Ministry's General Director Hassan Falha, Minister Mitri's advisors Andreh Kassas and Toufic Yanyi, the National News Agency Director Laure Suleiman Saab, as well as other concerned officials.

Minister Mitri tackled in his word all inequities the station is being subject to.

"Seeing that the station is being deemed unimportant by some, and the administration's inequity has become unending, an open and composed media is what we need so as to help citizens make up their beliefs," Mitri uttered whereby he voiced his support to transform the station into a public institution.

Also, Mitri hoped the station, with its various programs and major capabilities, would be taken care with justice.
